How Were Black Slaves Treated?

Black slaves were treated as far as I'm concerned like animals. They were not allowed to be free. They were beaten, raped, hanged, and made to serve people. It is very sad for me to even think of people being treated in such a manner. Even after the slaved were freed they still was murdered, raped, and their houses burned to the ground. You need to watch the movie called Roots. It is a very good example of how the slaves were treated.

Absolutely ridiculous. What you should know is that slavery is as old as humanity and that all societies have utilized others as slaves.

Slaves were treated like slaves. They were forced to work whatever chores they were assigned with little or no pay. They had no freedom and weren't allowed to make their own choices
