What are Aqueducts?

Answer

Aqueducts are cement bottomed streams which move water from places with lots to places with less. They can fill with fast-slowing water in times of torrential rain. They are made by people, so not really a stream like in the woods, more like a drainage ditch which moves water and stops urban streets from flooding. You can find more information here: http://library.thinkquest.org/04apr/00222/aqueduct.htm
