Where does Beach Sand Come from?

Answer

Beach sand is created from sediments that are deposited along waterways that had been picked up and moved by the water. In the case of sea that movement would be from the natural waves and tides, and on smaller bodies of water such as rivers and lakes it would be caused by wind or the wakes from watercraft.
