What State is Washington Dc in?

Answer

The interesting thing about DC is that it really isn't part of any state nor is it its own state. It is a district on own that has land set aside for it. If you look at it on a map, it would belong to a part of Maryland and Virginia, but Washington DC is not part of any state and does not have a senator to represent it.
