How Long does It Take to Drown?

Answer

Typically, one starts to drown to death as soon as they begin to lose consciousness. This generally takes around two to three mniutes time. Although this is the case, it typically takes five to ten minutes in order to actually die. This is because water will begin to enter the airways which will eventually cause throat spasms. This then shuts down passage to the lungs.
