Where does Pasta Come from?

Answer

Pasta was brought back to Italy from China by Marco Polo. Italians ate a form of pasta dumplings but not pasta as we know it. Arabs invaded Southern Italy in the 12th century and worked grain into long lasting pasta noodles. Saracens invaded Northern Italy in the 9th century and continued the pasta factory. In otherwords, your guess is as good as mine.
