What Part of the Chicken is the Gizzard?

Answer

You must be looking forward to Thanksgiving with your question about the gizzard. A gizzard is a small organ from the digestive tract of animals, including reptiles, worms, birds, and of course chickens and turkeys! Poultry gizzards are especially popular and are sold fried, stewed, and pickled. Mmm, nothing like a pickled food grinding intestine!
