Usually in restaurants a queen cut of prime rib is about 8-12 ounces. A king cut is 16-24 ounces. So multiply that times the number of guests that you are cooking for.

4 - 6 for pork ribs, 3 - 5 for beef ribs A lot depends on who you are feeding. Mostly men, go to the high side of that number and have 10% extra. 10-12% to be exact.
