How Many School Districts are in Pennsylvania?

There are over 300 school districts in pennsylvania. In february 2009 Govenor Ed Rendell was speaking of the possibility that the amount of schools in the state would be cut down by 80 percent. There is a total of 500 districts and if the cut were to be given the go ahead it would be cut down to only 100 districts total, some parents are worried about this cut back so that there are no over crowded class rooms and how much money would be saved is unknown at this point.
