A rechargeable battery works beacause electrical energy is applied to the battery, then the electron flow from negative to positive that occurs during discharge is reversed and power is restored. Pretty complex for us just plugging them into the wall!

It depends on what type of charger you are using. Most people either have a fast charger that can get it done in about an hour, or a trickle charger that will have to be hooked up
