To connect your computer to your television you need to first make sure that the television you have at least has a VGA input for the VGA cord. The VGA cord is the cord that connects your computer to your regular moniter and if the tv has that input then you hook it the computer to the television the same way you would the monitor. However if your tv does not have the VGA input it may have an S-video Input which Desktop computers do not come with a S-video output you would have to buy a video card that supports it and then connect to your television.
