To delete a yahoo email account, you would go to https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_use. From there you would click on the terminate button. Then simply just do not use that email account anymore at all. After a couple of months of no activity, it will be deleted from Yahoo's system.

You can delete your Yahoo account by clicking on the account settings. Once you terminate the account, you will no longer be able to get it back. You can find more information here:
