What Type of Usb Port do I have?

Answer

To determine the type of usb port you have would depend on the age of your computer. If it is an older computer, then the usb port would be a 1.0 which is the slowest. To determine which port you have, right-click on my computer, select properties, hardware, device manager and then expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Look for something along the lines of Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller. If see Enhanced controller then you have a 2.0, if it reads standard, then you have either a 1.0 or 1.1.
1 Additional Answer
USB ports come into two speeds 1.0 for older computers and 2.0 for the newer ones. You can check system information/hardware to find exactly what type of USB port is installed on your system.
