Depending on the length of the songs you're putting on there, 1GB is roughly equal to about a hundred to a hundred and forty songs. I know that compared to some of the other models, like the 16GB or 32GB, your little 1GB seems small and insignificant, but a hundred songs is a lot and will easily get you through something boring. Like third period history class.
