E-checks are also referred to as Direct Debit which is paperless and helps to eliminate going to the bank. Instead of paying by say a credit card, you will provide your checking account information such as check, number and routing and account numbers. It does not appear that many online shopping sites, including the major ones such as QVC, HSN and ShopNBC.com, accept E-checks, so you may have to enquire at the time of payment. Many do accept checks by mail but you order would not be mailed until the check has been received and sometimes, cleared.
